Drug & Alcohol Consortium

DOT random testing pool — enrollment, selections, and results managed per driver.

Billing period

per driver / month

$5

Federal rules require CDL drivers to be enrolled in a DOT drug & alcohol random testing consortium. We enroll each of your drivers, keep the random-selection pool running on the required schedule, coordinate test scheduling, and track results and return-to-duty steps. Pricing is $5 per driver per month — or $48 per driver per year billed annually — so it scales with your roster. The individual test fees charged by the collection site are billed separately at cost, the same way MVR and PSP report fees are.

Frequently asked questions

Are the actual drug tests included?

No. Consortium management is $5 per driver per month. The collection site bills the individual test fee at cost, just like MVR and PSP report fees.

Do I count as a driver if I'm an owner-operator?

Yes. If you hold a CDL and drive, you must be in a random pool — a one-driver consortium is exactly one seat.

Is this included in the compliance plans?

The program management is included in the Owner-Operator and Small Fleet plans; the per-driver pool seat is billed at cost there. This standalone product is for carriers who only need the consortium.
